End of November Musings

As promised here are my end of November musings…. Before I begin, just a note to say that I have updated the look and feel of this site and the petiteligue.com site. I will be retiring the jsimon.ca domain next month. This after owning it for over ten years.

November Updates

I had removed my blog and several of my posts last months as I was unable to stay on top of this website while I worked on several of my interests.

One of my posts that has been removed talked about my involvement in the by election and subsequent Federal general election campaign.

I removed it because my feelings about the campaign and politics in general changed radically since it was posted.

A new replacement post that will cover that campaign, the US election and the current provincial campaign will be written next week.

Theme Song Nostalgia

With the "controversy" of CBC in a dispute over the Hockey Night in Canada theme song (written by Dolores Clamen), I was reminded that I usually switch the channel away from CBC and to RDS shortly after the game begins (unless we are spared Bob Cole).

Telus' Marketing Coup with Koodo

I hate to admit it, Koodo Mobile's marketing is working.

Here I was minding in my own business trying to enjoy my lunch in one of my favourite restaurants, when the folks sitting next to me starting talking about something I obviously know more about than they do. In this restaurant you are basically at the same table as the people next to you. I was actually doing my best to ignore their conversation.

Life with Leo

G4 Tech TV Canada has cancelled The Lab with Leo. Leo in his blog, has written that this is actually a good thing. I couldn't AGREE more.
